Centre Manager Update – 3rd April 2026

As we head into the bank holiday weekend, here are a few updates:

Opening hours:

We are open throughout the Easter weekend.

• Saturday: 6am – 6pm
• Sunday: 7am – 3pm
• Monday: 7am – 8pm

Swimming lessons are running as normal. Some exercise classes will not take place, so please check the app for details.

Café:
The café will be open from 9am – 3pm over the weekend and on Monday; however, hot food will not be available.

Memberships:
A reminder to members that if you wish to cancel or freeze your membership, this must be done via the app or by emailing membership@aspire.org.uk. We are unable to accept verbal requests to cancel or freeze memberships.

Facilities update:
Next week, the sports hall will be closed on Wednesday until 3pm for the installation of a new dividing curtain.

We are also due to have new WC doors installed in the pool changing rooms and pool corridor. We are currently awaiting a confirmed date for this work and will keep you updated.

I will be off next week, so Declan will be looking after things. I hope you all have a lovely long weekend.

Centre Manager Update – 27th March 2026

It’s been a mixed week weather-wise, and with the clocks going back this weekend, we’ve got a lot of clocks at Aspire Leisure Centre to change! Keep an eye on our socials to find out just how many 👀

You may have noticed the new sign at reception encouraging you to ‘check in’. This is really important, as it confirms you’ve arrived and attended your booking. Please be aware that failure to attend a class may result in a block on your account and a non-attendance charge. If you’re in a rush, you can simply use the QR code on your app and scan it at reception as you come in.

On the subject of bookings, we’ve been working with ClubRight on developing their waiting list function. It’s still early days, but we’re hoping this will soon allow spaces to be allocated in order of the waiting list, rather than on a first come, first served basis.

With the Easter holidays approaching, please check our opening hours. While you’re here, don’t forget to stop by reception and have a go at ‘how many eggs are in the jar’ to support Tom’s marathon fundraising 🐣

Finally, a quick update on improvements: our first aid room is being refreshed this week, and a deep clean is scheduled for Sunday night.
